Why it matters
ANXIETY IS OFTEN YOUR SYSTEM TRYING TO PROTECT YOUAnxiety isn't a flaw — it's a protective response. When your nervous system has learned that uncertainty, conflict, or failure might lead to something painful, it starts scanning for threats, even when you're safe.
Sometimes anxiety looks like racing thoughts or a knot in your stomach. Sometimes it looks like perfectionism, overthinking, or feeling responsible for everyone around you. Sometimes you don't even know why you're anxious — you just know you can't relax. The goal isn't to eliminate anxiety. It's to understand what it's trying to do for you, and what your nervous system needs to feel more safety and choice. |
The Approach
MOVING BEYOND MANAGING ANXIETYYou may have already tried breathing exercises, meditation, or telling yourself to "just stop worrying." When anxiety is rooted in your nervous system, thinking your way out isn't always enough. My work draws from four approaches:
|
WHAT SHIFTS IN OUR WORKTogether, we explore what your anxiety is protecting, where those patterns came from, and what it feels like to sit with uncertainty instead of immediately trying to control it.
|
YOU DON'T HAVE TO BE ON
You can feel uncertainty without needing to solve everything, and experience strong emotions without being consumed by them.
