About Kalli KronmillerMeet KalliTherapy that honors the whole person
I became a therapist because I believe there is so much more to healing than simply talking about what happened. Our experiences live not only in our thoughts and memories, but also in our bodies, emotions, relationships, and ways of moving through the world. Sometimes we understand exactly why we feel the way we do and yet we still find ourselves anxious, overwhelmed, shut down, disconnected, or repeating patterns we desperately want to change.
That’s where my work begins. I’m a Clinical Mental Health Counselor and Licensed Expressive Arts Therapist, and I specialize in trauma, attachment, and somatic approaches to healing. I bring together evidence-informed therapies with experiential and creative practices to help you access parts of yourself that traditional talk therapy may not always reach. |
Healing isn’t about becoming someone different.
It’s about becoming more fully yourself.
My ApproachI believe you are not broken.
The patterns that once helped you survive, protect yourself, or stay connected often continue long after they are needed. Rather than judging or trying to eliminate those responses, we can become curious about them. What is your body trying to tell you? What does your nervous system need? What experiences shaped the way you relate to yourself and others? And what becomes possible when you have enough safety to respond differently? My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and experiential. We may use conversation, body awareness, movement, mindfulness, imagery, expressive arts, and other experiential practices to help you connect with your inner experience in a deeper way. You don’t have to be an artist, and you don’t have to know how to “do” expressive arts. Creativity is simply another language for exploring what words sometimes cannot fully express. |
Trauma & Nervous System HealingI have advanced training in Somatic Experiencing and EMDR, along with training in somatic attachment and integrative somatic practices. I’m also continuing my training in Somatic Experiencing because I believe deeply in the wisdom of the nervous system and in approaching healing at a pace that feels safe and manageable.
Rather than focusing only on the story of what happened, we can also explore what is happening right now: in your body, your emotions, your relationships, and your nervous system. This can create opportunities for experiences of safety, choice, connection, and regulation that may have been difficult to access before. The Therapy Relationship MattersI see our work as a relationship and a collaboration. You are the expert on your own experience, and my role is to bring curiosity, knowledge, attunement, and therapeutic tools to help you understand yourself more deeply and move toward the life and relationships you want.
There may be moments of insight, moments of discomfort, moments of creativity, and moments when nothing seems to make sense. We make room for all of it. Most importantly, you don’t have to have everything figured out before you begin. You can come exactly as you are and I’m going to be with you through figuring it all out. |
